Raider Day 5k Fun Run/Walk

The Raider Day 5K will be held at the Navarre Youth Sports Complex, 8840 High School Blvd., from 8 to 11 a.m. Cost is $10 for students, $15 without T-shirt and $30 with T-shirt. Touch-a-Truck

Bring the children to see, touch, and learn about different big trucks and vehicles in our community at the Navarre High School from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Cost is $5 per child; adults are free and must remain on campus with the children.

Grillin’ in the Breeze

Taste grilled and smoked delicacies, cast your vote for the People’s Choice award, and bid on terrific silent auction items throughout the day at the Shoreline Park from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  The Navarre Beach Marine Science Station’s Discovery Depot and Pensacola Mess Hall will be on-site with activities for all ages. All proceeds support education in Santa Rosa County.  General Admission is $10 in advance, $12 day of event, and VIP Tickets are $35 in advance, $40 day of event. Farmers market

Spring Carnival

Hurlburt Field Eggstravaganza

Get your baskets ready for the Eggstravaganza Community Event from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lil’ Commando Community Park on Hurlburt Field. The Easter egg hunt kicks off at  9 a.m. with ages 0-2. Then at 9:30 a.m. ages 3-5 will find those hidden eggs. Followed by ages 6-8 to hit the ground running at 10 a.m. And to close the egg hunt at 10:15 a.m. will be ages 9-12. Eglin Egg Hunt

Eglin’s annual “Easter Eggstravaganza” will be held on the ball fields behind the Eglin Youth Center for all children ages 1-12 from 10 to 11 a.m. Bring your basket and be ready to roll at this fun annual tradition, where there’s a prize in every egg. The event is open to all families with access to Eglin AFB. Gates will open at 9:15 a.m.; early arrival is recommended.
