Book club meeting

The Red Shoe Book Club will meet at 10 a.m. at the Navarre Library. The group will study the Giants of Industry and/or Robber Barons of the Gilded Age. Daddy-Daughter Movie Night

The Nutcracker

Northwest Florida Ballet presents the 40th annual production of The Nutcracker at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Nov. 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 24 at 2:30 p.m. Box office priced tickets for The Nutcracker are $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Pow Wow

This Pow Wow celebration brought to you by the Santa Rosa Creek Tribe, Nov. 23 & 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tribal Grounds, 4750 Willard Norris Road Milton, includes Native American performers, crafts, dancing, food, storytelling and much more. This market held in front of the Pace Presbyterian Church, 4587 Woodbine Road, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., provides local goods including produce, baked breads, canned preserves, cooked meats and even wood-fired pizza.

First City Lights Festival

Kick off the holiday season, immediately following the Winterfest Elf Parade on Black Friday with a holiday lighting ceremony at 5:15 p.m. that will launch the First City Lights Festival; a diverse season-long lineup of festive, holiday events in Downtown Pensacola. Christmas Lights Display

Sowell’s North Pole Christmas Light Display will be open every night including Christmas Eve and Christmas night. Admission is $10 per vehicle to drive through and train rides are available for $2 per person in addition to vehicle admission. Sowell Farms is located at 7650 Sowell Road in Milton. Trash bash

Volunteers will meet in the main Navarre Beach parking lot near the Sand Crab Pavilion at 8 a.m. to help clean Navarre Beach. Limited supplies of gloves, buckets and pickers are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. For more information, visit navarrebeachseaturtles.org.
