Navarre Krewe of Jesters Pirate Bash

Join the Navarre Krewe of Jesters for a night of debauchery at their annual Pirate Bash at the Navarre Conference Center from 6:30-11 p.m. Must be 21 to enter. Tickets are $25 per person, $175 for a table of eight or $225 for a table of 10. Food will be provided. This is a BYOB event , the Krewe will supply all the mixers. Shark school

Shark school students will learn about local Gulf Coast sharks, shark biology and shark conservation at the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center. The cost is $15 per child and there is an entrance fee of $5 per adult. For more details, visit http://tiny.cc/sharkschool.

Family movie Mondays

Family friendly movies will be shown at the Navarre Library the third Monday of every month at 3:30 p.m. This month’s movie is “Up,” rated PG. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Navarre Library.

 

Book club meeting

Navarre’s Wing-Off

The Starfish Project’s second annual Wing Cook-off at Navarre Park will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cooks, chefs and organizations will showcase their best chicken wings to be voted on by you. Cost is $10 for a wristband which can be purchased through Eventbrite or for $15 the day of the event. There will be local vendors, kids’ zone, live music and more. Maker Nights

Calling all woodworkers, engineers, machinists, electricians, tinkerers and science enthusiasts. The Emerald Coast Science Center needs your help. They are in the process of updating their exhibits and would love your expertise. Join them for Maker Nights where you can put your valuable skills to use for a great cause and assist them in improving and creating museum exhibits. Trash bash

Rubber Duck Derby and Mullet Toss

The annual Navarre Krewe of Jesters Labor Day Duck Derby, Mullet Toss and Cardboard Boat Race will be at Juana’s Pagodas on Navarre Beach from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. This event is fun for the whole family and is a fundraiser for their scholarship fund and Mardi Gras parade. Juana Good Time Regatta
